Foxglove flowers belong to the Scrophulariaceae family. It is a perennial plant, comprising of more than twenty species. Foxglove belongs to the Digitalis genus. Foxgloves can be found in Europe, west and central Asia and Africa. It is a tubular flower growing on a tall spike. It is mostly used for ornamental purposes. Its flowers resemble bells, and the blossoms are produced in a stiff cluster. The color range of Foxgloves include: white, lavender, purple. They flower throughout the summer.

First of all you need to select a site with full sun to light shade. It is recommended to plant Foxglove in spring, spacing them 1 to 2 feet apart. It is a good idea to add compost to the soil prior to planting. After planting, Foxglove should be watered thoroughly.
A thin layer of compost and mulch should be applied each spring. It is recommended to stake the flowers to keep them upright. Remove the central flower spike after flowering to encourage other side shoots to form and produce more flowers.
