About Kingcup

Kingcup has a beautiful name, and like its name it is a beautiful flower.  Its scientific name is Caltha palustris and belongs to the Ranunculaceae family and it is more popular in the Northern Hemisphere.Kingcup becomes beautiful and even luxuriant in partial shade. It can reach of height of up to 80 cms and interestingly enough its leaves are kidney shaped. Its flwoers are yellow the petals resemble sepals and they bloom from early spring to late summer.
